The question many business owners get asked is what is your "why", well for us it was about spending time with our family and doing what we want when we want. It was about seeing those moments that matter whether it is a school play, a sports game, or just picking them up from school. It was also about being able to plan and enjoy special events together.
Chris and Catherine began Pendennis Axis Properties when they realised that to get to financial freedom just working in a job and saving using the "normal" offerings was never going to work. We started with our first single let in 2014 and slowly grew our portfolio working with partners who were experts in building property portfolios. After a few years, we realised that if we wanted to accelerate the process we needed to learn more and so started the company in 2018 to create a real business that would provide passive income and a legacy for their family. They have trained and worked with leaders in the property investment world to ensure they understand how to make money from investing and have a network who offer support and advice. As has been said the best mistakes to learn from are other peoples.
The journey is far from complete, property is not an overnight wealth-building plan, but it is a great long term solution.

The model
The company looks to buy and hold residential properties for a long period which will be rented out creating a recurring income. They work with a team who are experts in their local area, who source properties, manage any refurbishments and manage the tenants. The length of time from finding a property to letting it out can take from 3 - 9 months depending on the scale of the refurbishment and the complexity of the purchase.
We have both single lets and HMOs (Houses of Multiple Occupancy) and work with different teams for both.
